About the company

Amrita Singh Jewelry was launched in January 2003. Jewerly making was an accidental love and has become a passion.

A connoisseur of art, I believe in creating jewelry that incorporates the best elements of modern and classic, the familiar and the innovative, which acknowledges the individuality and the lifestyle of the women who wear them. My passion for Indian art and travelling inspired me to create my own collection based on the timeless designs of the "Mughal Era".

Soon after the launch, the collection was available at the finest stores in the U.S such as Bergdorf Goodman - NYC, Al Park - Palm Beach, Gypsy - Nantucket. The collection has also had a great success with celebrities, stylists and magazines. The jewelry is often covered in the monthly issues of magazines such as Instyle, Vogue, Elle and Glamour amongst others. The collection has been worn by "A" list celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Faith Hill, Virginia Madsen, Jessica Lange, Joan Allen and others.

2005 has been an instrumental year with the addition of 2 new lines to Amrita Singh Jewelry. Amrita Singh Jewelry now has a semi-precious and a costume line ("Bangle-Bangle"). Both the lines are sold at more than 200 specialty boutiques in the US, such as Calypso, Intermix, Vivre.com and Kirna Zabete.
