Hushidar Mortezaie, Designer

Hushidar Mortezaie

There is a world of fashion that stretches beyond the runways of Paris. Hushidar “Hushi” Mortezaie is proving that art and fashion are one in the same. This 34-year-old designer is spreading the flavor of “avant garde beauty” from the east coast to the west coast by transforming the traditionally drab fashion statement into a fashion movement. Hushi left his hometown of Larkspur, in Tehran, headed for New York City with little more than his talent and a single friend to guide him. Soon, after opening a modest shop, Hushi took the New York fashion scene by storm with collections and pieces that are sure to take us all on a trip down the runway. Read more about Hushidar Mortezaie in the Young & Professional Profile and discover for yourself the designer that is turning heads up and down the coasts.
