Advertising Associate

The CulturalConnect is seeking an all-star Advertising Associate for its enterprise of magazines. This person will be responsible for the sale of The CulturalConnect's advertising products across each of the aforementioned markets.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
• Handling incoming leads for each ethnic edition.
• Achieving quarterly revenue targets.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience in local/retail advertising sales and/or online media environment.
• You must have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, time-management and interpersonal skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Marketing Internship
The CulturalConnect is seeking motivated self-starters for a part-time position on our marketing team. This position is ideal for a college student or recent grad looking to gain valuable experience in all realms of the marketing world at a startup company.

Ideal candidates should be reliable, enjoy working our staff, have internet access. Interns should have good research and communication skills. A good grasp of statistics is a plus. A couple interesting things to note -- our staff is all 25 years and younger and all work virtually. We only ask that you bring your enthusiasm, your creative juices and out of the box ideas to the table.

Photography Internship
Are you looking to expand your portfolio? The CulturalConnect is looking for photography interns in every major city. Interns will be responsible for taking digital photographs of profilees that are given coverage in all of our magazines. Additionally, individuals will be responsible for taking pictures that represent or speak to our young professional readership and may be asked to capture professional or cultural events in their local vicinity.
